Someone pointed out this passage to me a few years back and it tends to 'haunt' me. It is so directly a command of one of my responsibilities as a Christian. Do I 'encourage' - sure I do - SOMETIMES! This scripture says DAILY! If you read through the context - the writer is dealing with unbelief. I need to be encouraging my brothers and sisters to believe and to trust. BE ENCOURAGED - THE ALMIGHTY GOD IS TRUSTWORTHY AND HONORS HIS PROMISES!
"Encourage one another daily, as long as it is called TODAY, so that none of you will be hardened by sins deceitfulness." Hebrews 3:13
