Grandkids keep you humble . . .at least they sure try. At church Sunday night, my 5 year old grandson, Drew, looked at me so intently and asked, 'Did you do anything bad at all today?" Well . . .I had. Talk about conviction - at the moment it occurred to me that I could just list ALL the bad I had done that day . . .attitudes, thoughts, laziness . . .
I settled in on laziness and responded with 'Yes, Drew, Grammy was lazy today after you left and I didn't get all my work done. I am sorry." He was satisfied with that and went on to another subject . . .thank goodness he didn't say, "ANYTHING ELSE GRAMMY???"
"Confess your sins one to another, and pray for one another. . ." James 5:16 Even to grandchildren?

He is a mess!
Don't forget about God's command to rest...
We shouldn't be lazy but the Sabbath principle is still a good one.
So the question is was your cow in the ditch?
