Picture of HEAVEN?

  Last night at our Ladies Bible Study, we got into a discussion on this subject.   The topic was 'Circumstances' and how God's grace is sufficient for all our sufferings in this life.  Remembering that the sufferings of this life are not for always and that life compared to eternity is so short . . .




So, what is your Picture of HEAVEN?

Does it help you to patiently grow through the hard times of this life to think about it?  It was really interesting how different our ideas were.

Here's some starters for us:

". . .a throne stood  with One seated upon the throne.  And He who sat there had the appearance of jasper and carnelian, and around the throne was a rainbow that had the appearance of an emerald.  Around the throne were twenty four thrones and seated on the thrones were twenty four elders clothed in white garments.  From the throne came flashes of lightning, rumblings of thunder. . ."  REV. 4:2-5
