The Gift of Grace

"If it were possible to take all that Christ was and is - His mercy and love, His righteousness and holiness, His power and intelligence, His creativity and wisdom - and focus all of it for the benefit of an underserving person, we would begin to have a sense of what God's grace is all about."  Sally Clarkson in THE MINISTRY OF MOTHERHOOD

If you haven't read this book, I sure do recommend it!  Next Friday at our M & Ms meeting we are going to look into what Sally  Clarkson calls 'the gift of grace' we can give our children (for me:  grandchildren!).  Sally explains it as a two-part process summed up like this:   receiving grace and giving grace.

How 'bout this for another powerful quote from her book:   "As we go through our days, for instance, I try to be mindful that, to God, relationships are always a top priority."  HMMMMM....relationships top priority NOT TASKS!  Anybody else need to ponder that thought today?
